Avenida Suites is a Service Disabled Veteran and minority woman owned business based out of Tampa, Florida. The company history begins in the mid-90’s when Marine Corps Sergeant Dan was introduced to Brazilian native Claudia while he was serving a tour of duty in Rio de Janeiro. The couple married a short time later after Dan returned to the U.S. They started a family and made a habit of visiting their favorite vacation spot in Tampa.
The family flourished over the next ten years as Claudia’s Brazilian hospitality and people skills helped her build a very successful residential cleaning business. Meanwhile, Dan became a Marine officer, further developing the virtues that would later serve the development of their business: integrity, adaptability, discipline and commitment to the highest standards. When he left active duty, Dan and Claudia relocated to Tampa. Soon after arriving, they recognized that their unique skills could help others who were temporarily or permanently relocating to the Bay area. And so Avenida was born.
From those humble beginnings several years ago, Avenida Suites has grown into an international business, providing temporary housing services to clients and guests across the United States and several international locations, including Brazil, Argentina, and many other Latin American countries. Avenida Suites counts among its clients some of the largest international relocation management companies as well as several global Fortune 500 companies.
